DFT Cleanall was formulated to be the most versatile all-purpose cleaner you've ever used. This guide is just that, a guide. The possible concentrations are nearly unlimited, and we're sure that once you get the hang of it, you'll discover many more than you'll find listed here. Have fun, and be careful. At full strength, DFT Cleanall can harm paint, upholstery, and other surfaces. Always test your solutions in an inconspicuous area to ensure that no damage will occur. If you find a particularly effective use that you think should be listed here, drop us a line and let us know!

Cleaning your tires prior to protecting or dressing them is key to a properly detailed, new looking tire. If you have whitewalls, redlines, or even yellow line tires, DFT Cleanall is your solution.
We recommend cleaning the tire first by spraying DFT Cleanall over the entire tire. Wait 30 seconds, then either hose off or wipe off with a towel. For excessive silicone and grime build up, a nylon or wire brush may prove to be the fastest method of removal.
For whitewalls, spray DFT Cleanall directly on to the whitewall. Immediately wipe clean with a towel. For stubborn grime, use a nylon or wire brush. Hose or wipe off immediately.
After the tire is clean, apply DFT Shield to achieve a low-gloss, natural, new tire look. Stand back, and enjoy. Repeat the above process for all four tires.
Whether you are maintaining a clean engine compartment or in desperate need of a deep cleaning and degreasing, put DFT Cleanall on the job. **ALWAYS clean engines that have been completely cooled. NEVER clean an engine that is too hot to touch!
For experienced detailers who are comfortable using water in an engine compartment, cover the distributor cap with a towel and lightly spray engine compartment with water. Next, spray DFT Cleanall wherever cleaning/degreasing is necessary. Using a soaked towel, wipe down the engine compartment loosening the dirt, grime, and grease. Hose off the compartment again to rinse away the dirt. Last, blow dry or towel dry the compartment to minimize water spotting.
For the engine compartment new comer, use DFT Cleanall in conjunction with a toothbrush and towel. Spray necessary areas and wipe clean. Use the toothbrush for hard to reach areas and crevices that your towel and finger cannot reach.
Once engine is completely dry, use DFT Shield on hoses, plastic and/or rubber components, and DFT Flash on any chrome, metal, or stainless components. Now you're show-ready.
Cleaning your wheel wells is probably one of the most overlooked aspects of a quality detail. In our opinion, a dirty wheel well is nearly as bad as a dirty windshield.
Spray DFT Cleanall inside the wheel well, wait 30 seconds and either wipe out with a towel or hose out with water. For heavy or old dirt, scrubbing with a nylon brush may be necessary.
Once this is complete, spray DFT Underbody in the wheel wells and watch them disappear. *Note: If you have painted wheel wells, use either DFTwaterless or DFT Detailer to finish them off. DFT Underbody is designed for black undercoating and plastic inner fenders, not painted surfaces.
Spray DFTcleanall directly on bugs, then wipe off with a towel. If the bugs have been on the surface for an extended period of time, you may need to remove them with DFT Clay. Otherwise, they should wipe off easily.
Simply spray DFT Cleanall onto your dashboard, door panels, kickplates, and console and immediately wipe off. For stubborn dirt or stains, scrub lightly with a nylon brush.
DFT Cleanall makes an excellent carpet and upholstery cleaner. Using the 10:1 dilution ratio, evenly spray carpet and agitate with a brush or towel. Using a Wet/Dry vacuum, suck out the dirt and grime. Use the same technique for cloth upholstery. *Note: For carpeting in classic and vintage cars, we recommend the use of a towel for agitation. The thicker, looser pile common in older carpeting, in conjunction with age, will easily fray with the use of a nylon brush.
The dilution ratio is presented as a range for this application because higher concentrations can be used for the removal of stubborn or old stains. Remember to always test your DFT Cleanall solution in an inconspicuous area to ensure that no damage or discoloration will occur.
